The match will be held at the Linkoping Sporthallen at 1900. LVC has made quite a good start to the season, with two victories (Vingaker and RIG Falkoping) and one loss, against Sollentuna, currently ranked first in the competition, in an away match last Sunday evening. After losing the Sollentuna match 19-21 in the fifth set, the players are very keen to take three points against Habo on Friday. LVC have a young, but talented roster this season, with the local players Adnan Ciric, Martin Barrefalk, Mathias Gustafsson and Carl Ahremark providing the experience of having played in this competition, while imports like Tom Edgar (also returning) and Aidan Zingel provide much needed height at the net. Erik Knutsson who was recruited from RIG Falkoping this season had a great game against Sollentuna last weekend and he is another Swedish player who is exciting to watch.
Habo are currently ranked eighth in the competition, while LVC are fourth on the table, though Habo should not be taken lightly as they have a number of good players. Their most well known player of recent years is Adnan Herco, who averages about fifteen points per match and he could be quite dangerous, if LVC do not implement a strong defensive plan against him. Habo have played some tough matches to date against Tierp and Orkelljunga, so Friday's encounter should be well worth watching.
